By-election for Laxey?

by isleofman.com 30th May 2014
Voters in Laxey could be going to the polls next month after a commissioner decided to step down.
Justin Rosa’s resignation means nominations are now open for a seat on the board.
Anybody wishing to stand has until Tuesday to complete the forms and return them to the local authority’s offices on New Road.
If a by-election is needed, it’ll take place on Tuesday, July 1.
