Citywing flight forced to return to Belfast airport

A flight to the Isle of Man had to return to Belfast on Friday lunchtime after developing a technical problem.
The twin-engine, Let 410 aircraft operated by Citywing was carrying five passengers and two crew when the problem developed shortly after take off.
Firefighters were scrambled at the airport, but the plane landed safely and there were no injuries.
The passengers were later able to complete their journey to the Island and the airline apologised for the inconvenience.
The aircraft was checked by engineers before being returned to service.
