Police are seeking witnesses to a three-vehicle crash in which a local motorcyclist was killed.

The collision occurred at the junction with Garey Road, on the main Sulby to Ramsey Road, at about 10.20am today. It involved two motorcycles and a car. A man from the Sulby area was pronounced dead at the scene. The rider and pillion passenger of the other bike were taken to hospital with what police describe as non-life threatening injuries. The driver and passengers of the car were not
injured.

Inspector Derek Flint said: 'We will now need to carry out further work to establish fully what has happened. Our thoughts are very much with the family of this man at this time. I’d like to thank those people that assisted at the scene, and those witnesses that have already come forward. If anyone else has information that they believe may help the investigation, I’d be grateful if they would contact the Roads Policing Office at Headquarters, on 631212.'
