Sidecars rained off - Dunlop's 10th win

by isleofman.com 4th June 2014

The clerk of the course announced the conclusion of TT racing earlier this afternoon as weather conditions deteriorated.

It meant the second sidecar race of the week was unable to go ahead.

Earlier, Michael Dunlop recorded his 10th TT victory in the Supersport race, reporting thick mist on the mountain towards the end. Bruce Anstey came in second and William Dunlop third.

This morning, John McGuinness won the TT Zero for electric bikes despite having a wrist injury.

This year's schedule has been affected by the changeable weather conditions. Race organisers tweeted: 'Thanks to all the hardworking marshals, officials and organisers. Not an easy few days but the effort all have put in is appreciated.'
