Manx property firm to be bought

A Manx-based company which specialises in property in India looks set to be bought out by a Canadian asset management company.

Unitech Corporate Parks is developing six special economic zones and Information Technology parks in India.

Brookfield Asset Management looks set to acquire the company, which is listed on the Alternative Investment Market.

The deal is said to be worth 3,000 crore rupees – which is just over ?300 million.
