Bikes day - Molyneux victory

by isleofman.com 5th June 2014

Local sidecar star Dave Molyneux recorded his 17th TT victory in fantastic style today.

It was passenger Pat Farrance's third TT win and the pair were 43.9 seconds ahead of second placed Conrad Harrison and Mike Aylott, after the three lap race, with John Holden and Andy Winkle third.

Racing was delayed by weather conditions that have proved unpredictable all week.

TT festival events today have included the always popular bikes day on Laxey promenade (pictured) and tonight sees the fireworks display over Douglas at 11pm, brought forward from tomorrow because of the weather forecast.
