Credit unions on the way - but could be some way off

Moves towards a Manx credit union are being made - but the process will take some time.
So says Treasury Minister Eddie Teare after facing questions on the issue in the House of Keys.
Onchan MHK Peter Karran pressed him about when a law dating back more than 20 years would be updated to allow a credit union to be set up.
Mr Tearetold the house the process is underway but the legislation isn’t top of the government’s priorities:
