Man accused of GBH on woman remanded in custody

A man accused of attacking a woman in Douglas last week has been remanded in custody.
Twenty-nine-year-old Mark William Thomas Bell, of Oak Avenue in Douglas, is charged with causing grievous bodily harm on Keeley Watterson, in a lane near Demesne Road on Tuesday last week,
He's also charged with possessing an offensive weapon, namely a pole.
Mr Bell's advocate did not make an application for bail.
He will make a further appearance, via video link, on July 3.
