Civic Sunday Parade in Douglas

The annual Borough of Douglas civic Sunday parade and church service takes place today.
At 10.15am, the parade will gather at the town hall and be led by the Douglas Town Band to St George’s Church via Prospect Hill, Athol Street and Upper Church Street.
The service will begin at 10.30am and representatives from other local authorities, government departments, charitable organisations, and members of the public will be greeted by the town’s Mayor Stan Cain.
Ridgeway Street will be closed to traffic between 9.50 and 10.30am to make way for the procession.
