Three people from the Isle of Man have been given honours in the Queen’s birthday list.

Tim Cullen and Pamela Shimwell-Mayo have both been awarded MBEs, while Judith Arnold receives a BEM.

News of the honours was released by Government House at midnight.

Mr Cullen has been made a Member of the Order of the British Empire for his work in financial management, including with the Small Countries Financial Management Centre.

He’s been a commissioner with the Island’s Financial Supervision Commission since 2001 and before that spent 21 years at the World Bank.

Meanwhile, Mrs Shimwell-Mayo is honoured for her 25 years of work with the Parkinson’s Disease Society Isle of Man, and fundraising for other charitable causes.

Mrs Arnold’s work with Cruse Bereavement Care on the Isle of Man over the past 25 years has seen her receive a British Empire Medal.
