Treasury minister demands deficit discipline

The treasury minister’s warning there’s no room for complacency – despite the Manx posting a much lower deficit than predicted.
It’s been revealed the net revenue shortfall at the end of the 2013/14 financial year stood at ?17 million - ?14 million lower than estimated.
While Eddie Teare believes government’s well on course to rebalance the budget by 2016, he says it’s ‘no excuse to relax’ maintaining budgetary discipline.governmentClip 1
