Police investigating burglary

Police are currently investigating a report of domestic burglary which took place in the area of upper Castlemona Avenue, Douglas sometime between 10.00pm on Wednesday the 11th of June 2014 and 7.50am on Thursday the 12th of June 2014. Several items were stolen from the property including a red coloured Acer Aspire One D257 Notebook laptop and charger lead; a silver coloured Acer laptop installed with Windows 8 and a ‘Weston’ blue and white coloured 250GB external hard drive.
 
This is believed to have been an opportunistic incident and as such Police are urging all homeowners to be vigilant and implement simple crime prevention measures in order to prevent them becoming a target.
