Funding sought for final food park phase

This week's sitting of Tynwald is going to be asked to approve spending of nearly ?1 million for the final phase of a food park being built in Peel.
The project, which began in 2010, will cost nearly ?3 million in total and is a joint initiative between the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture and the Department of Economic Development.
Construction on phase two is due to be completed next month, and it's claimed that the number of jobs created at the park will rise from 70 to 125 with the completion of phase three.
