Staff members from Isle of Man Bank got down and dirty to help with a special project at Marown School.
The team from the bank was assisted by two joiners from Prospero as part of the bank’s Get Your Hands Dirty community project.
They created a mud kitchen, work bench, wooden stage, two chairs, a mini ‘bug house’, water board and other pieces of equipment for the school playground.
Isle of Man Bank’s project team leader Sarah Cain said: ‘I’m delighted that Isle of Man Bank has been able to help out and make outdoor play equipment for the infant children at Marown School, through our Get Your Hands Dirty project.
‘I’m sure the children will have great fun.
‘It’s been an absolute pleasure to give something back to Marown School as my youngest child will be leaving the school this year.’
Marown School head teacher Ian Longshaw said: ‘Sarah and the team from Isle of Man Bank and Prospero have kindly provided our school with a fantastic mud kitchen, some unique exploring installations, a stage area and new seating in our Key Stage One playground.
‘The team has worked extremely hard and we are really impressed with what they have achieved in such a short space of time.
‘The children have gained new play areas where they can explore, experiment and use their imagination to have fun and learn.’
He added: ‘Our staff and children are delighted with the new equipment in their playground.’
