The Isle of Man Steam Railway has teamed up with Peter’s Railway to offer young passengers the chance to do a treasure hunt on the Douglas to Port Erin line.

This free competition is for children aged 14 and under, with cash prizes totalling ?1,000 to be won. The closing date for entries to be received by Peter’s Railway is 30 September 2014.

Each participating railway or museum has a Great Railway Treasure Hunt quiz sheet with 10 questions for children to answer when they visit.

Full details of the competition and quiz sheets are available for download at www.PetersRailway.com and the participating railway/museum websites. The more railway sites visited, the more points can be collected and the greater the chance of winning. The person with the most points wins the ?300 first prize. Second prize is ?100 and there are 10 runners-up prizes of ?50 plus ?100 for the entrant who visits the most railways.
