Old Peveril Hotel on Ramsey Promenade broken into

by isleofman.com 26th June 2014
The Police have reported that between Thursday 19th and Wednesday 25th June; ‘Bleak House’ on Mooragh Promenade, Ramsey; more latterly known as ‘The Peveril Hotel’ has been entered by means of forcing the wire mesh on a rear basement window.

Minor damage has then been caused to the interior of the building and the front door has then been left insecure.

It is suspected that youths are responsible, and there is concern that if they return they may come to harm as a result of the dilapidated condition of the building.

It would be appreciated that any activity in or around the building be reported to Ramsey Police Station or anonymously through Crimestoppers 0800 555111.
