Market hall will welcome students in September, says college official

by isleofman.com 26th June 2014
There are reassurances about the readiness of Douglas Market Hall to welcome Isle of Man College art students for the start of the next academic year.
Concerns were raised about the cost of the planned refurbishment by Douglas councillor David Ashford at the end of last week.
Quotes for the work received by the council have been well in excess of its ?40,000 budget, with required safety measures pushing up the cost.
Helen Fox is programme manager for art, design and media at the college.
She says the students will be in there from September, as planned:Clip 1
