Hopes for local fire training facility

A ‘Live Fire’ training facility could be constructed in the Island to improve the performances of our emergency services.
Manx fire and rescue crews currently go off-Island to train, a move not considered cost-effective.
Deputy Chief Fire Officer John Murtagh says it would be more beneficial to have officers trained locally.
