End of term School Dinners night on the Dining car

by isleofman.com 3rd July 2014
There’s some end of term high jinks on the menu with School Dinners on the Dining Car.

A special dining steam train will depart Douglas Station at 7pm on Saturday 26 July. School uniforms should be worn for this adults only theme night – with punishments for anyone letting the side down!

There will be a good old fashioned school dinners service featuring toad-in-the-hole and cottage pie served by dinner ladies and prefects. The full menu is below.

The School Dinners train returns to Douglas Station by 10.30pm in time for everyone to catch the last bus home.

Tickets for this adults only event are ?40 per person (no concessions) including train travel and three course dinner. Advance booking is advised to avoid disappointment. Contact the booking clerk on: 01624 697457 or email Steamdining@gov.im.

•         The Dining Car is now offering fine dining Sunday lunches and Manxman dinners on Monday and Saturday evenings throughout the summer. Book now for the Tynwald Day bank holiday weekend.
