Flower festival comes into full bloom

by isleofman.com 3rd July 2014
The Isle of Man Flower Festival gets underway today (THURS) and 21 venues across the Island are displaying their arrangements for a week.
This year’s theme is Island of Culture, and organisers are hoping the festival will be even bigger than its re-launch last year.
As well as 19 churches, the Old Grammar School in Castletown and the Grove Museum in Ramsey are participating.
There’s also a framed set of winter flora stamps up for grabs in a photographic competition.
A 32-page brochure, with a map of locations, is available at all venues, and more details can be found at flowerfest.im.
