Cav considers libel action

by isleofman.com 8th July 2014
Manx Missile Mark Cavendish says he may sue a Norwegian cyclist over claims he deliberately crashed during the opening stage of the Tour de France.

Alexander Kristoff made the claims on a cycling website, and Cav's agent Simon Bayliff says the Manx star is both angry and shocked by the allegations.

Cavendish suffered a dislocated should and ligament damage during the spill and will need six weeks to recover from surgery.

He’s now said to be considering taking legal action against Kristoff.
