Intrepid toddler sparks police alert

by isleofman.com 9th July 2014

A three year old boy has been reunited with his distraught parents after disappearing in the early hours of this morning.

Police on patrol found the boy in Bayr Cam at the junction with Cooil Road at about 4.30am.

Sergeant Paul Kemp said the youngster, who was wearing a polo shirt and a nappy, appeared to have decided to go for a wander and was not thought to be too far away from home. He was safe and well and 'charming the A&E staff'.

Sgt Kemp said he was a happy, smiley little chap but wasn't speaking to the officers looking after him.

He later reported that 'rather distraught' parents had been in touch and were being reunited with their little boy.
