Tesco seasonal goods plan refused

by isleofman.com 9th July 2014
A Douglas Councillor has been explaining why he DIDN'T object to an application by Tesco to build a structure in which to house 'seasonal goods'.

Douglas Council had made it known they had objected to Tesco's application for the structure outside their main building.

Earlier today the planning committee turned down the application by Tesco for the structure.

Colin Cain was the only councillor to vote in favour of the application, and has branded his colleagues 'petty and narrow minded'.

Mr Cain says he believes the town plan for the centre of Douglas is becoming outdated:Clip 1
