Ramsey assault accused granted bail

A 33 year-old man has been charged with common assault following an incident outside a Ramsey pub yesterday morning.

Ian Derek Brown appeared before the High Bailiff this morning (Friday) in connection with an alleged assault which occurred by the Commercial Hotel in Market Square just before 9am.

Mr Brown did not enter a plea but has admitted three charges of criminal damage, resisting a police officer and possessing a class C drug.

He’s been bailed to appear in court again on July the 24th.
