Runners in the pink

by isleofman.com 12th July 2014

Nearly 1,000 children joined in the GO Run for Fun held at the National Sports Centre.

Special guest was Olympic and Commonwealth Games athlete Helen Clitheroe. A sea of pink t-shirts engulfed the race track for the two kilometre event.

A spokesman for the organiers said: 'We were very lucky to have the Police Cadets turn out to help marshal under the leadership of PC Mike Griffiths along with the many helpers from Manx Harriers, Western AC and the Sport Development Unit.'
