by isleofman.com 14th July 2014

Police are appealing for information after three homes were burgled while their occupants slept.

The properties on Port-e-Chee Avenue in Douglas were broken into overnight on Saturday and Sunday.

A police spokesman said: 'During the burglaries a number of high value electronic items have been taken from the addresses whilst families were asleep. Also taken from one of the addresses was a quantity of medication which if fallen into the wrong hands could be extremely dangerous.'

Anyone with information should contact police headquarters on 631212.
