Burglars struck at three homes in Douglas over the weekend.
The properties in Port-e-Chee Avenue were targeted late on Saturday night and the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police say valuable electronic items were taken whilst the families were asleep, as was a quantity of medication which could be extremely dangerous if in the wrong hands.
Police are reminding people to lock their doors and windows overnight and when leaving premises unattended.
