Assault accused set for commital hearing

A Ballasalla man accused of causing grievous bodily harm with intent is due to appear at Douglas courthouse on Tuesday morning.
Thirty-five-year-old David Mitchell is also charged with affray and possessing an offensive weapon.
It follows an incident on the Clagh Vane estate in Ballasalla in the early hours of May 18.
A committal hearing is set to take place before Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes.
