Ballakermeen to finish Schools' Play Festival

by isleofman.com 17th July 2014
The first Schools’ Play Festival comes to an end on Thursday evening with a performance by Ballakermeen High School students.
They’ve chosen to perform Douglas Maxwell’s ‘Too Fast’ – a story of a vocal group aiming to win Britain’s Got Talent - but first they’re booked to sing at a funeral.
The festival’s been aimed at pupils who don’t normally get involved in the arts, and Ramsey Grammar and Castle Rushen High School took part earlier this week.
Ballakermeen drama teacher Stephen Craige says the students are incredibly excited: (play audio)

B/A: Tonight's performance begins at 7.30pm and tickets are available at the Gaiety Theatre box office, the Welcome Centre or via villagaiety.com. Clip 1
