Model railway at Port Erin this weekend

by isleofman.com 18th July 2014
Steam railway locomotives that are currently out of service can be seen working at Port Erin Station this weekend.
Kissack, Pender and even No. 1 Sutherland will be amongst those running around the tracks on a specially built model railway!
A model of No. 2 Derby, the original of which was scrapped in 1951, is also amongst the live-steam model locomotives.
The models have been brought over to the Island by Brian and Susan Caton from North Yorkshire and the tracks will fill the waiting room at Port Erin.
The model railway will operate until Monday (21st) from 10am to 4pm and will feature a total of 10 locos, all around 11 centimetres long.
Admission is free.
