From dancers to doughnuts, churros to charity stalls, Morris Minors to charabancs, there will be something for everyone at Douglas Carnival today
A fun filled afternoon and evening is promised by organisers with Loch Promenade hosting a series of family activities from two o'clock.
Despite the poor weather forecast for this afternoon all parts of the event, including the fun day, are going ahead as planned.
The carnival will burst into life at 18:30 with an extravaganza of floats, bands, classic cars, bikes and wheelie bins making their way along the promenade.
And with an after party at the Bottleneck car park hosting live music, the fun will go on well into the evening.
