Police cuts may break the law says MHK

North Douglas MHK John Houghton says he is still hopeful Tynwald will back moves to ring-fence the police budget in coming years.
This week, his motion to guarantee a certain level of funding for the Isle of Man Constabulary was adjourned until October because Home Affairs Minister Juan Watterson was off-Island on business.
Mr Houghton says this year’s cuts will already affect the service officers can provide.
And he says he wants reassurance there will not be more cutbacks in future:Clip 1
