Change to Out2Play rules unexpected

by isleofman.com 20th July 2014
The Children's Centre Out2Play scheme will be going ahead as normal this summer, although younger children will now need adult supervision.
The scheme which has been running for the past 10 years sees the charity use open spaces around the Island giving kids the chance to play.
Until now youngsters have been able to stay without an adult on the understanding that they are able to come and go as they please.
But a new ruling under the Regulation of Care Act means that from now those under the age of eight will need to have a parent or guardian with them.
Chris Gregory from the Children's Centre says they have always been very clear about what the scheme provides.Clip 1
