Manx resident and retired businessman Bill Chacksfield is sailing his yacht 'Nexus' from Douglas to join in the Commonwealth Games flotilla.
The event on the river Clyde on Saturday will mark the opening of the Games in Glasgow. Nexus will be one of 11 boats to be featured on a special website - www.flotilla2014.org.uk - where it will be possible to track their progress. Bill's crew will be husband and wife team David Gillies and Christine Tautari, and Ruth Lea from Orkney.
