A vision of rainbow colours for Hospice event

by isleofman.com 21st July 2014
An amazing event was held prior to the Douglas Carnival with over 400 people taking part in the first colour run event held on the Isle of Man. The event was a vision of rainbow paint. The run started at Summerland and involved running or walking as fast as possible with paint being thrown by the seven corporately sponsored stations. These stations were sponsored by local companies including Microgaming, Barclays Banks Plc, Lloyds Bank Plc, SGS Glazing Limited, Royal Skandia, Paragon and Nedbank. Manx Telecom supported the event by supplying sunglasses.  The whole event was raising funds for Hospice Isle of Man. The event wrapped up with a paint party near the Jubilee Clock.

PR and Marketing Manager for Hospice, Mary Doyle thanked everyone for getting involved in what was an amazing event on the Island. She added: “we are still counting all the donations but we hope to have made ?10,000 from the event and will definitely hope to do this event next year.”
