The Isle Gallery will be ‘keeping it real’ this Summer with a mixed show of stunning artworks. The new exhibition 'Realism' will on 31st July 2014 at the Isle Gallery, Tynwald Mills.
The exhibition will be a wonderful opportunity to see some of the Island’s finest artists working in a representational manner. Portrait artist, Svetlana Cameron and wildlife artist, Jeremy Paul are including work in the exhibition and this is an ideal opportunity to view their work during their busy schedules of exhibitions later in the year in London and at the Sayle Gallery, Isle of Man (Svetlana) and Jeremy’s up and coming exhibition in Jersey this September. Included in the show are is a rare opportunity to purchase two of Petrina Kent's Peel Townscapes in acrylic.
The exhibition is a challenge for many of the Island’s artists who have moved away from representation artwork and now work in an abstract style. Other artists taking part in the exhibition include, Anna Clucas, Kate Jerry and Anne Pitts, there are also a few twists to the exhibition title ‘realism’, and many artworks will be on sale in the exhibition, if something grabs your attention!
While you visit the exhibition why not take a look at the art and craft shop, where you can view and purchase from the largest selection of artist work on the Island, and also artist designed greeting cards. Amongst the ceramic works we have a new selection of Raku fired clay pots by artist, Matt Owen.
