An additional event has been added to the busy programme of this year’s Manx Heritage Transport Festival.
Bus vannin has laid on a special double decker to enable people to follow the motorcade of P50s around the TT course. The bus will depart the TT Grandstand at 0900 on Saturday 2 August 2014. Tickets, priced ?5, can be purchased in advance from the booking clerk on 697457 or via Steamdining@gov.im.
The transport festival promises a spectacular five days of events celebrating all forms of on-Island transport running from Wednesday 30 July to Sunday 3 August 2014.
One highlight is the commemoration of the 140th anniversary of the Steam Railway operating to Port Erin on Friday 1 August.
