Yacht suffers engine failure

by isleofman.com 28th July 2014
Ramsey’s lifeboat went to the assistance of a 40ft yacht this weekend.
It was at the request of the Liverpool Coastguard following a distress call from the Bangor registered yacht.
With three people and a dog on board, it suffered total engine failure 2.5 miles east of Ramsey on Saturday evening.
Unable to berth in the northern harbour, the crew was met at sea by the Douglas lifeboat, and the yacht was safely towed into the capital.
