New exhibition space in Douglas

by isleofman.com 28th July 2014

A new exhibition space has opened in Douglas, and the first big show opened on Monday night.
What used to be the Bushy’s Basement Bar on Church Street in Douglas, has been rebranded as simply Basement by Andrew Otten and Ben Jones.
The pair says the pop-up exhibition space will be an eclectic venue for artists, and will specialise in contemporary art and music events.
Combining science and art, Ben says the ‘tinybiSHen’ exhibition by John Byrne, open until August 3rd, is really exciting for the new Basement hosts.
