Police want to hear from people who witnesssed a near head-on collision on the Mountain Road.

The incident occurred yesterday (Monday) at about 3pm when a silver or grey coloured vehicle was seen to overtake a line of traffic on the series of corners leading up to Guthries from Ramsey.

A police spokesman said: 'This dangerous manoeuvre almost caused a head on collision with a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction. Police are interested to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and may have witnessed anything.'
