Police investigate car damage

by isleofman.com 30th July 2014
Police in the south of the Island say they’ll use handprints to find out who damaged a white car in Port Erin last weekend.

The car was parked outside Franklins Showroom on Station Road on Friday, July 19 and Saturday, July 19 when vandals climbed onto its roof.

But officers at the Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team say those responsible left a number of handprints – which they’re now checking on the police database.

They say if there’s no match, they’ll keep the prints on file until those responsible are caught – and are urging those behind the damage to come forward now.

If you have any information you can contact Port Erin Police Station on 832222.
