Unite boss slams bank job losses

A union boss has hit out after RBS International announced job losses on the Island.

On Wednesday morning, the company said it's simplifying its structure and although it's creating new posts, nine people will be made redundant.

The news has produced an angry response from Unite which claims up to 40 posts are at risk here.

Regional officer for the union in the Isle of Man, Eric Holmes describes the job losses as a further unnecessary blow to our internal economy:Clip 1
