Book offers insight into life of a Tommy

A local resident has published a collection of his father's letters written from the trenches during World War One.
Geoffrey Whittaker's father William was on the front line in France from 1915 to 1919.
During that time he wrote some 270 letters to his parents, giving a comprehensive glimpse into what a soldier's life was like.
William was forbidden from revealing his exact location which is reflected in the book's title "Somewhere in France".
Geoffrey says until three years ago he had no idea the letters even existed.Clip 1
