Post Office launches special postmark cover to mark 50 years of Peel Cars

The Post Office officially unveiled its special 50 year anniversary postmark cover at the launch of the ‘Peels to Peel’ Festival which took place on the morning of August 1st from outside of Regent Street Post Office.
 
The Festival which was organised by Peel Car owners and enthusiasts in partnership with The Manx Transport Museum celebrated 50 years of the iconic Peel Car and attracted more than 20 of the micro cars to the Island with 12 of these traveling to the Post Office in Douglas to mark the opening of the three day Festival.
 
The special edition 31st July postmark produced by the Post Office is limited to just 500 hand numbered copies and comprises of six vibrant stamps which include the P50, The Manx Car and Trident.
