Charity to host Island first Vision Awareness Week

by isleofman.com 7th August 2014
For the first time ever, Manx Blind Welfare is hosting a Vision Awareness Week this year.
Between September 15 and 21, the charity will be travelling around the Island to talk about what it does, who it supports, and to promote good eye care.
The week will culminate in ‘Walk My Way’ – the Island’s biggest ever guided walk along Douglas Promenade.
And Debbie Kenyon, volunteer coordinator and events organiser for Manx Blind Welfare, says they’ll also be kicking off in style: (play audio)
All the details are on the Manx Blind Welfare Facebook Page, or get in touch with the charity on 674727.Clip 1
