Lifeboat launched to go to aid of fishing vessel

Douglas lifeboat was called out this morning (Fri) to rescue a fishing boat.
The William and Hillary was launched at 9.10am after the "Persevere" suffered engine failure and drifted to within 20 feet of the rocks by Douglas lighthouse.
Lifeboat crew were able to attach a line and tow the fishing vessel safely into the inner harbour.
All four crew members were uninjured
