Isle of Man Vintage Cheddar has been selected as one of only four British cheeses to grace a cheese board put together by Emirates Airlines for their Business and First Class passengers.  The cheese-board will be offered to all Business and First Class passengers on every Emirates flight departing from the UK from the 1st of August, initially for a 2 month period.  These lucky passengers can taste the quality of premium cheese from the Isle of Man whilst reading about its characteristics and provenance on a specially commissioned tasting guide.
 
The introduction of Isle of Man Vintage Cheddar is one of the first sales gained through a new strategic sales partnership that Isle of Man Creamery has signed with Bradbury & Son Ltd, who are the UK’s leading distributor of continental cheeses and artisanal British cheeses. Established in 1884, Bradburys have built a reputation for cheese knowledge and innovation.  This has positioned them well to supply into high-end markets in the UK and further afield.  Bradburys will collate the four cheeses which make up the Business and First Class Cheese-board into purpose designed trays at their Buxton site.
 
Isle of Man Creamery Managing Director, Findlay Macleod says “to have a successful dairy industry on the Isle of Man, we have to find high value niche markets for our cheese.
