The sights, sounds and spirit of 1940s Britain will be recreated as the Island goes to war this weekend.
Douglas railway station, transformed into a WWII military outpost, will be the focus for the third Island at War event.
There will be drills, demonstrations and activities for children.
Visitors will have their papers checked by the Home Guard, tickets for the steam train can be bought in 'old' money and the D-Day Darlings will perform on the platform.
Those travelling south can stop to visit a wartime camp in Castletown and view a 1940s agricultural display in Port St Mary.
In Port Erin shopkeepers will be dressed in forties fashion, the WI will service wartime ration recipes and at 2pm a VE Day tea party will be held in the station.
During the rail journey, passengers will catch the rare sight of a crashed Spitfire.
