PAG wants TV monitoring

by isleofman.com 17th August 2014
The Positive Action Group says it’s hoping to recruit volunteers to help measure how much TV news coverage the Isle of Man gets.

In a new project, the organisation says it wants to find out whether the Island’s being served by UK TV news such as the BC and ITV.

But in order to gather the data it needs, it’s asking for people to come forward to help it monitor how long and often the Island is covered by TV new crews.

Roger Tomlinson says the data may be used in future to argue for more coverage – or possible a Manx-based TV station:Clip 1
