McGuinness TT watch handed back

by isleofman.com 9th September 2014
A rare watch belonging to 21-time TT winner John McGuinness has been handed back to police after it was stolen at the weekend.

The Morecambe Missile was presented with the ?10,000 timepiece, engraved with "TT Senior Winner", by race organisers in following his Senior victory in 2013.

But after thieves stole it from his van over the weekend, Lancashire Police say it was handed in to officers last night.

McGuinness said: "I'm very proud of the watch, so I think it's lesson learnt - don't leave it in the glove compartment of your van."
